From stock originally collected in Guangxi China by way of Cindy Riviere at Plant-It-Herbs, this is an outstanding ornamental medicinal. Growing to 3 feet or more it blooms late in the season (Sept. - Nov.) and it's not uncommon to see snow covering the large white petaled flowers here. Prefers rich well drained soil. Tea made from the flowers aids the liver and eyes.
