Large vining shrub produces copious amounts of red Goji berries. High in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins - it is being called the new super food. Never mind that it has been cultivated and eaten for centuries in China... It prefers a well drained loamy soil but isn't very particular except it doesn't like acidic soils. They are self pollinating although planting two or more will increase berry production. Trellising or staking may be a good idea to keep the berries off the ground. We find that the usual garden vandals (deer, rabbits, chipmunks, etc.) love this plant so be warned.
