Climbing vine native to China, Korea and Japan used for it's adaptogenic and antioxidant properties. Contains 4 saponins identical to those found in Ginseng as well as many others. Sometimes called "poor man's ginseng". We have a "bitter" variety as well as a "sweet" variety - please indicate your preference when ordering if you have one. The "bitter" is said to be stronger acting. Both are the 5 leaved variety.
