The leaves have a strong, sweet licorice taste; great tea plant. Used to treat coughs, fevers, colds and to induce sweating. Dark green leaves and spikes of blue-violet flowers make a great show. A favorite of butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Grown easily in most garden soils; reseeds.
