Succulent trailing ground cover from South Africa with thick fleshy 3/4" narrow pointed leaves with showy 1 1/2" wide flowers with dozens of threadlike white petals. Traditionally used by Bushmen and Hottentots alike as a euphoriant and sedative. Currently being investigated as a tool in treating different mental illnesses. Great in hanging baskets - needs little attention. Rare in its native range.
