Native medicinal plant used as a nervine, tonic, diuretic and anti-spasmodic. It's name comes from the fact that it has been used to treat rabies in the past, but I'm guessing without much success. Prefers rich, moist soil; numerous small blue flowers from July to October. One of the most important medicinal herbs in several traditions.
