Traditionally it has been used to treat fevers, dysentery, diarrhea and asthma. Now renamed Calea ternifolia - zacatechichi is from the Nahuatl language and means "bitter grass". Easy house plant where not hardy - give it a lot of light and keep it on the dry side over winter. See separate listing for dried leaf.
