A coarse weedy-looking smelly plant from the same family as beets and spinach. It is a specific remedy for hookworms and ascarids. The name Epazote is from the Nahuatl (Aztec) language - epatl = skunk and tzotl = sweat. I don't know how accurate that is and it doesn't help sell the plant but the aroma is something that really can't be described. The stongly scented leaves are widely used to add a unique flavor to Mexican and Southwestern food - especially bean dishes. Packet(Standard): $3.50; 1/8 oz: $8.00; 1/4 oz: $15.00; 1/2 oz: $28.00 1 oz: $54.00 - 190,000 seeds/oz
