This has lacy leaves which are bright green above and nearly white below. Extremely aromatic, it is one of the most widely used medicinal herbs in Eastern and Southern Africa. In Ethiopia crushed leaves are mixed with honey and water to treat stomach cramps. In Zimbabwe a body wash is made from the leaves to drive off evil spirits. Leaf tea is used to treat coughs, colds, and flu as well as bronchial and intestinal ailments. And hemorrhoids. And neuralgia, mumps, and boils. Clear strong camphor scent. Hardy here most winters.
