Attractive branching shrub native from Arizona south to Columbia. Showy red to orange 1 1/2" long tubular flowers are a favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies in our beds. Traditionally used to treat gastro-intestinal disorders, eye infections, fevers and inflammations. We've been surprised at this plant's hardiness - it's been coming back for 10 or so years now. Deer don't like it!
