Low-growing sub-shrub with rose-pink flower spikes and aromatic, crinkled, grey-green leaves. Despite its strong sweet aroma, its taste is very bitter. Another good bonsai candidate; just don't lick your fingers while working with it. Likes poor, well-drained soil. Occasionally overwinters here.
