From stock originally collected in Guangxi China by way of Cindy Riviere at Plant-It-Herbs, this is an outstanding ornamental medicinal. Growing to 3 feet or more it blooms late in the season (Sept. - Nov.) and it is not uncommon to see snow covering the large white petaled flowers here. Prefers rich well drained soil. Known as "Tea Chrysanthemum", a delicious tea made from the flowers aids the liver and eyes. Not known to set viable seeds - these are easily started from cuttings.
