A beautiful easy to grow succulent-like plant. Beautiful terminal spikes of showy blue/purple flowers, but it's claim to fame(or infamy) are it's extremely pungent leaves. They smell like skunk. In your house. It is supposed to repel dogs, cats, ferrets, weasels, martins, and raccoons, among other critters. I don't know if it repels skunks. Hope it doesn't attract them. Fun plant for kids, if you like hearing eewwww! From Eastern through Southern Africa.
