This basil is similar to Greek Columnar but grows a bit bushier and flowers occasionally - although it will act like a tender perennial. Keep it from frost and you'll have Basil all year long. The leaves have some cinnamon and citrus undertones and unlike most Basils, this one retains it's flavor when dried. From the Island of Lesbos in the Aegean Sea.
