Looking like an escapee from the desert southwest, this Yucca is actually native to the SE US although it is hardy as far north as Wisconsin. Used to treat gout, arthritis, rheumatism, as an anti-inflammatory and to purify the blood. Very tolerant of a wide range of conditions and soils - give full sun for a better flower display.
