Native to the southern foothills of the Himalayas, Moringa is widely planted around the world in semi-arid regions because of its drought resistant qualities. Its edible leaves and seed pods contain high levels of protein, vitamins and minerals; because of its drought tolerance it is an easily grown source of food, forage, and oil (seeds). The roots have a strong horseradish flavor - the leaves are milder. 4" pot.
