Native from Oregon to Nebraska and south. Creeping hardy perennial spreads by runners where there is sufficient moisture. Rosettes of oval leaves up to 6" with honey scented small white flowers. Roots have a Eucalyptus/camphor scent and have been used for centuries to treat inflammation of the mucous membranes, colds, sore muscles, wounds, ulcers and stomach pains. Antimicrobial and antibacterial. Prefers wet soil but will tolerate average garden soil.
