This has got to be one of the oddest names for a basil. We were given seed for this by one of our customers from Guyana. It has a very unique smell - a mix of Vanilla, citrus, licorice, and more. The leaves are narrower than your typical Sweet Basil but nearly as long. While we started this originally from seed, we propagate it from cuttings. It flowers very little, and produces little seed, acting more like the (tender) perennial Basils. We'll keep playing with the seed from this one.
