An upright, multi branched, evergreen shrub to 15' popularly used in landscaping. Thick, smooth, dark green, four-inch-long, leathery leaves are nicely complemented by smooth, grey-brown to golden bark which sheds in thin sheets. The single, white, one-inch-diameter flowers have many prominent stamens and looks like a miniature powderpuff. Bears numerous delicious red 1 - 2 inch fruits. A great tub plant for temperate areas - little bothered by pests and starts to produce fruit in 4 years or less. Highly invasive in tropical areas - we cannot ship this to Hawaii. 4" pots.
