A beautiful and unusual plant sometimes used as an external astringent and wound herb. Considered an aphrodisiac, only the hardiest "love seekers" would climb the rocky mountains and outcroppings it calls home to pick bunches of it's flowering stems. It is used in the pharmaceutical, perfume, and beverage industries. One of the ingredients in Vermouth and Absinthe. Native to the island of Crete where it is considered rare and protected by law. It trails and works great in hanging baskets. The 1/2" leaves are densely covered with fine white hairs; numerous hop-like flowers in pink spikes. The leaves are burned as incense. Mild oregano scent. 4" pots.
