Silver finely cut foliage sets off the abundant stalks of bright blue flowers. Everyone who visits our gardens comments on this one. It has a long mid-summer flowering period and is quite drought tolerant; great for hot, dry areas. In areas of indigenous distribution this is sometimes smoked as a euphoriant, used to treat dysentery, and as a febrifuge. 1994 Perennial Plant award winner.
