Outstanding ornamental flower - this has the same uses as the two previous listings although some consider it weaker. The purple daisy-like flowers make it a nice border plant. It blooms for two months or more. Excellent cut flower. The disk at the center of the flower is raised into a elongated cone - hence the name. Likes poor dryish soil but adapts well to various growing conditions. Great butterfly plant, as are all the Echinaceas.
