We introduced this variety to the trade some years ago; I kept seeing a couple of 3' x 4' shrubs on the way to and from the local library a while back, and kept wondering what shrub looked so much like Rosemary. Well, it was Rosemary. It had been growing for 10 years outside at that point. I tracked down the owner and got permission to take a few cuttings. She couldn't remember where she bought them, or if they had a particular variety name - they were just Rosemary to her. The large bushes finally succumbed in the winter we first heard about 'polar vortexes'. We had three of them that winter which was too much for them. They are similar in appearance to Arp Rosemary with a greyer leaf than the species, but they don't look as ragged as Arp does after a winter.
