Tangy leaves up to 10" long are used in salads, soups, omelettes, meats, fish and poultry. Some people may be sensitive to oxalic acid which gives the distinctive flavor. Tea from the leaves quenches thirst, reduces fevers, and improves liver and kidney function. Leaf juice will bleach rust, mold, and ink stains from fabric. Should be kept trimmed for a continued harvest. Easy in full sun in average soil.
