A very attractive aromatic plant with gray-green very finely cut ferny foliage. Spreads by shallow runners which make it a great dense ground cover for poor soils. Less bitter than Wormwood/Artemisia absinthum, this is known as "little absinthe" and is grown commercially in Spain and Lithuania for the production of Absinthe and Vermouth. Good low border plant. Can be invasive but because of a shallow root system it's easily dug out.
