One of the oldest spices. The seeds are used in cooking for their distinctive flavor. Wonderful in breads, it aids digestion. It is aromatic, stimulant and carminative. Sow where it is to grow when soil is warm - it doesn't like transplanting. Prefers dry light soil in full sun. It resembles Queen Anne's Lace in flower so don't weed it out by mistake.
