Prefers loose rich soil in full sun. The leaves, flowers and seeds are all used extensively for pickling and flavoring. A tea made from the seeds is helpful in relieving flatulence, especially in babies. It also improves digestion and appetite and sweetens the breath. While it is easy from seed it is best to direct sow outdoors where desired as it resents being transplanted. Can be sown virtually any time the ground isn't frozen - it will germinate when the soil is warm enough. Readily reseeds. Packet(Standard): $3.50; 1/8 oz: $4.50; 1/4 oz: $8.50; 1/2 oz: $16.00; 1 oz: $30.00 - 25,000 seeds/oz
