Intensely scented grey leaves a mix of Lavender and Sage scents. The essential oil is used in soaps and is reputed to improve cognitive function, the nervous system, and ease aches, pains, and respiratory complaints. This has a habit similar to that of our Dwarf Sage (SAL360) growing outwards more than upwards. Rare. Great potpourri material. Native to Spain, Southern France. This is not Salvia officinalis var 'Lavender Scented'. Common garden Sage contains the terpene thujone - the ingredient desired in Absinthe, but this plant doesn't.
