A coarse weedy-looking smelly plant from the same family as beets and spinach. It is a specific remedy for hookworms and ascarids. The name Epazote is from the Nahuatl (Aztec) language - epatl = skunk and tzotl = sweat. I don't know how accurate that is and it doesn't help sell the plant but the aroma is something that really can't be described.
