Showy and easy wildflower from Texas/Mexico with multitudes of one-inch scarlet flowers. Anti-inflammatory. A bath made from the leaves is used in the Yucatan to ward off the "evil eye". Good for naturalizing in the wild garden - it will reseed itself. Hummingbird favorite.
