The leaves resemble those of Sweet Marjoram; the flowers look like a combination of Sweet Marjoram and Oregano flowers. It is an excellent culinary herb - as strong and distinct as the Greek variety but sweeter and less biting. We have been growing this for 25 plus years and it's true - it doesn't seem to produce seeds. We get seedlings of most of the other Oreganos we grow popping up around the parent plants, but this one depends on us dividing it every so often to keep going.
