The oval leaves and the stems are grayish and very fragrant - think Vick's Vap-O Rub; the oil is used in preparations for coughs and sore throats. Famous for its antiseptic, germicidal and expectorant properties. This can grow 8' to 10' a year. Drought tolerant.
